Convention Orders with In the Hands of a Child

Your order will be placed in an account for you on this website within 1.5 weeks of purchase (sometimes sooner depending on the location of the convention and the travel time for us to return to the home office).

Existing Account Holders

Login as usual to retrieve your downloadable items.

New Account Holders

If you did not have an account with us prior to the convention one will be created for you. To access this account and retrieve your downloadable items, please login at our home page www.handsofachild.com using your email address as your username and this temporary password - found on the bottom of your invoice. Be sure to change your password immediately upon login to something secure and memorable.

Your New Super Membership

If you ordered a Super Membership, click on the Super Member Area link at the top of our home page and follow the instructions for a first time login.

Instructions for Downloading eBooks.

1. Login (Click on the Login Icon in the top right hand side of home page)

2. Click on Account (the file folder in the top right hand side of the home page)

3. Look under Recent Orders

4. Find the order that you want to download

5. Click on View Order

6. Click on the Download Icon

7. Download the ebook (Save to your computer)

HINTS:

We have found that Internet Explorer works best as a browser (MSN as your browser does not work). Also, please make sure McAfee firewall is turned off. You can find directions on how to do that here: http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ/FaqDetails.ashx?Id=3134

 

If you are still experiencing problems please go in and clear your cookies (some people call these 'temporary internet files') in order to get a "clean" connection before you try again.

 

If you own a Mac, please do NOT let it reformat our Unit. You will need to save it straight into your computer without formatting it. It must be saved as a .pdf NOT anything else or it won't work correctly.
