To use this version you only need Adobe Reader, however if you wish to save the unit with the students answers in it , change fonts, add pictures, or alter anything further, you will need the full version of Acrobat Adobe. Therefore it is recommended that the student print each activity as they complete it. CD The CD has a PDF file of the Unit on it ready for you to print and use as you’d like. You will need Adobe Reader, a free program to open it. - Because our units include reproducible, you’ll need to run copies of the graphics, or scan them from the printed version, or purchased our Kit Pack which provides them already printed out. The benefit of the CD is you can quickly and easily insert it into your computer and select the graphic pages (the last half of the book) and print those pages and walk away, no need to scan or copy one page at a time taking up your precious time.

It has them ALL! - The Hands-Full Premium version contains a Printed unit with a CD. Europe
Europe is a fascinating place simply because it is so varied. The geography, the language, even the history can be largely dependent on which section of Europe you are trying to teach. The Project Pack Europe- The Continent Series by In The Hands Of A Child is a wonderful answer to this dilemma. Tackling the complex subject of Europe, this project pack contains 25 pages of easy to read and understand information. It’s a broad general overview of the continent allowing your children to get to know Europe. Major religions, rivers and lakes, and the criteria for membership in the European Union are just a few of the many topics covered in this download. On a side note, Europe – The Continent Series is labeled for multi-age teaching, however I didn’t see any notes specifically detailing how to adapt this particular project pack to older or younger students. Just keep in mind that the project pack lapbook activities are geared towards an upper elementary level. HOTM Team, Pamela

Europe
I loved the thoroughness of this project. During our study of the Middle Ages, I decided that they needed a better knowledge of how Europe was laid out and formed. Through this project pack, my 5th and 7th grader achieved a better understanding of the formation of Europe and some of its history, the countries it contains, the plants and animals found there, the different regions, the European Union and how it began, and even had to conduct interviews of someone who has lived or visited there to see how it’s changed. The books suggested were easy to find in my library and enriched our study. The vocabulary work was very beneficial as well as the lapbook they assembled which they love to show off. We took about 3 weeks to complete this project, but we definitely could’ve gone deeper and longer. There are so many different tangents that you could follow depending on the interest of your child. I highly recommend this study.
