What is an explorer? An explorer is a person who travels into little known regions. Without explorers, we might still believe the world is flat, we would not have accurate maps, and many lands may have gone undiscovered. Let your student explore a few of these important people’s lives with the Explorers of the World Project Pack from In the Hands of a Child.
This 71-page Project Pack includes an 18-page Research Guide and 18 hands-on activities about the following explorers:
· Roald Amundsen
· John Cabot
· Christopher Columbus
· James Cook
· Erik the Red
· Leif Erikson
· Henry Hudson
· Lewis and Clark
· Marco Polo
· Henry the Navigator
· Robert Peary
· Amerigo Vespucci
Your student will complete a lapbook on world explorers that includes activities about each explorer as well as vocabulary and a timeline.
Ebook Format: When you order a Project Pack in the Ebook format, your Project Pack will be available for download to your computer. You may download your Ebook by logging into your account and following the download instructions. You will need the latest version of the free Adobe Reader.

*Please note you will need to have a full version of Acrobat Adobe in order to save the pages with your student’s answers. If you currently have Acrobat Adobe Reader your student will need to print each activity as it is completed because the free reader does not allow you to save the altered pages.
