To use this version you only need Adobe Reader, however if you wish to save the unit with the students answers in it , change fonts, add pictures, or alter anything further, you will need the full version of Acrobat Adobe. Therefore it is recommended that the student print each activity as they complete it. CD The CD has a PDF file of the Unit on it ready for you to print and use as you’d like. You will need Adobe Reader, a free program to open it. - Because our units include reproducible, you’ll need to run copies of the graphics, or scan them from the printed version, or purchased our Kit Pack which provides them already printed out. The benefit of the CD is you can quickly and easily insert it into your computer and select the graphic pages (the last half of the book) and print those pages and walk away, no need to scan or copy one page at a time taking up your precious time.

Norse Mythology
Excellent study on Norse Mythology. My 3rd grader and 6th grader completed the lapbook project on Norse Mythology. We love mythology and this was a delightful way to do it. This was our first HOAC lapbook and we will definitely be doing more. The children loved the stories, learning names & vocabulary and creating all their little booklets. They were able to do them with minimal assistance, which made it more fun for them. Thank you for making learning so much fun for us.

Norse Mythology
An informative, thorough study of Norse mythology. I was impressed with the variety of activities included in this unit. I also appreciated how well the components for each activity was labeled so clearly. Having used other lapbook curriculums that were not so user-friendly, this a nice surprise. Since I am not very creative/artistic, it would've been helpful if the unit included a placement guide for the pieces so we could assemle the lapbook as we completed a section. Instead, we assembled ours upon completion of the entire study. Overall, I would recommend this study as a fitting complement to a Middle Ages history unit.

Norse Mythology is Fun!
We found the Hands of a Child Norse Mythology Lapbook to be a fun and educational way to explore the Norse and their mythology! I have two children in different grades (4th and 7th) and this lapbook kit was easy for me to adapt to multiple grade levels and abilities. It inspired my older child to do more research on her own without being prompted, which is the ultimate goal of any subject! We made one lapbook and one notebook utilizing the mini books in more than one way. We added some map work and did a complete unit study from this kit!. We are on a roll, and thanks to this product, we are now studying Vikings! Hands of a Child once again has produced a quality product. Thank you HoaC!

What a great lapbook!
We had so much fun with this lapbook!! It was very well done, very informative, yet not overwhelming. The activities were enjoyable and educational and all helped to understand Norse Mythology much better. We ended up with a well-rounded and huge lapbook (much bigger than I had expected!). We are hooked on the Vikings now and are planning to add the Viking lapbook to our collection as well!!
